Junior's Department Redesign - 2010

The Junior's department of the Nordstrom site was completely redesigned for 2010 in tandem with a major site redesign. The BP. department departed from the standard branding of the Nordstrom site in order to better speak to our target customer (girls 13 - 17 years old). I was the designer on the project working with a creative director and copywriter. We brought in the cloud shape used in the previous design and added the concentric yellow circles to add a pop of color while working in social media elements.

The copywriter and I developed an extensive site map with many new features serving both selling and editorial roles. The marketing directors were presented with an list of features that they could choose from to assemble the site for 2010 taking into account their budget and timing restraints.
